Patna: The statement of Patna SSP Manavjit Singh Dhillon likening RSS with PFI yesterday has created tremor in Bihar politics.  While addressing the media after the state police Police busted a suspected terror module and arrested three people associated with the extremist organization Popular Front of India (PFI) Dhillon compares the outfit with RSS and this trigged a poltical storm in the state.  Dhillon during his interaction compared the training of PFI with the RSS and said “Just as physical training is given in RSS shakhas, similarly physical training was being given in PFI too” and this statement infuriated the Sanghparivar and the BJP which is a coalition partner in the incumbent Nitsh Kumar government in Bihar.

The SSP had said that the way the RSS organizes its shakha in which training is given to use sticks, similarly the PFI was training the youth in the name of physical training and brainwashing the youth under its agenda and propaganda.

Though a serious war of words is on between the BJP and RJD the ruling JDU is yet to politically react on the controversy.

According to the SSP the state police have been closely monitoring the activities of PFI for some time.   .  and many other security agencies had gathered incriminating inputs regarding the “dubious” activities of the organisation. “We had received many inputs regarding the visit of the Prime Minister, on the basis of which we conducted raids and arrested these people”, he said and added that “our social media monitoring team was keeping an eye on it.”
