Crowne Plaza Kochi Tree Lighting Ceremony Illuminates Child Safety Awareness

Kochi:  Crowne Plaza Kochi  celebrated its annual tree lighting ceremony this year with a profound emphasis on child safety. The enchanting event took place in the hotel featuring girl children from the Crescent Girls Orphanage  and celebrity Anna Ben who collectively illuminated the Christmas tree, marking the beginning of this year’s Christmas celebration.

The theme for the tree lighting ceremony is based on ‘Child Safety; Guard Our Children for Their Well-being’ and the lighting of the tree will symbolize the commitment to keeping children and young people safe. The event aims to support the children through the crisis.

The evening unfolded with an array of delightful activities, including a gingerbread house, shimmery wreaths, buntings, baubles, pinecones, and the joyful resonance of carols. Santa himself made a special appearance spreading holiday cheer and adding a magical touch to the festivities.

The program commenced with a heart-warming choir performance by children from TOC H School, setting the tone for an evening filled with joy. There were other entertainment programmes as part of the event.

The children from Crescent Girls Orphanage were immersed in the festive atmosphere, experiencing the joy that the holiday season brings. The event, followed by a delightful high tea, attracted the diverse audience, including celebrities, influencers, and corporate friends who came together to support this meaningful cause.
