How the 2026 Global Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® Were Determined

The 2026 Global Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® rankings are independently conducted by the Best Practice Institute (BPI) using its proprietary Love of Workplace Index®, a sentiment-based methodology that measures how employees truly experience their workplace.

Unlike many workplace recognition programs that rely primarily on company submissions, the rankings are based on validated employee sentiment, advanced sentiment analysis, and executive interviews. The methodology evaluates organizations across key dimensions including respect, collaboration, positive relationships, values alignment, achievement, and employee engagement.

Millions of employees across organizations of all sizes and industries participated in the research. Hundreds of executives were also interviewed to provide additional context on workplace culture, leadership, and organizational practices. Companies representing more than 40 industries worldwide were evaluated, making the rankings one of the most comprehensive global assessments of employee experience and workplace culture.

Published in The Economist, the 2026 Global Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® recognizes organizations that have successfully built cultures where employees feel respected, valued, and inspired to perform at their best.
