Mumbai : In an industry where, aspiring talent often struggles to find the right guidance, access, and opportunities under one roof, GBM Studios has stepped in with a long-term vision. Conceived as an integrated entertainment ecosystem, it brings together education, production, and post-production within a single collaborative framework, designed to nurture the next generation of actors, filmmakers, technicians, writers, and creators.

Founded by Dharmesh Sangani, GBM Studios houses three distinct creative verticals, namely Shekhar Suman Film Academy (SSFA), Madrigal Studios, and Sangani Brothers, each contributing to a broader mission of building a professionally structured ecosystem where emerging artists can learn, create, collaborate, and grow with real-world exposure. Sangani has also backed the revival of Shekhar Suman’s iconic talk show legacy with ‘Shekhar Tonite’, which launches on May 15, 2026, reflecting his larger focus on building platforms rooted in storytelling and entertainment.

Leading the ecosystem at GBM Studio is the already launched Shekhar Suman Film Academy, built to give aspiring actors a more credible pathway into the industry through mentorship, exposure, and hands-on opportunities. With a philosophy rooted in holistic learning, SSFA is designed to not just help students hone their craft but also prepare them for the evolving entertainment landscape, one that stretches across films, OTT, and newer formats of storytelling. Select students will also have the opportunity to work with projects developed by Sangani Brothers, creating a more direct bridge between classroom learning and professional experience.

Strengthening the ecosystem further is its creative services arm, Madrigal Studios, which will focus on delivering high-quality VFX, music, editing, and post-production services. Meanwhile, Sangani Brothers will function as the production backbone of GBM Studios, developing films and original content while also creating new opportunities for fresh talent.

Together, these verticals are intended to simplify the creative process by giving productions access to multiple services within one integrated setup. For budding talent, that means a clearer pathway. For the industry, it means a more seamless and collaborative way of building content from idea to execution.

Speaking about his vision behind GBM Studios, Dharmesh Sangani said, “With GBM, we want to build a space where aspiring artists, filmmakers, technicians, and storytellers are not just trained, but truly guided as they take their first steps into the industry. Through Shekhar Suman Film Academy, especially, we hope to guide passionate newcomers towards the right opportunities and real industry exposure. As Shekhar ji has always said, acting cannot simply be taught. It has to be discovered from within. With GBM Studios, our effort is to nurture that discovery while also creating an environment where talent feels seen, supported, and prepared for the realities of the industry.”

Looking ahead, GBM Studios is also preparing for international expansion, with plans to build global collaborations and create wider opportunities for Indian talent and storytelling. With its integrated approach, industry-driven vision, and focus on meaningful creative development, GBM Studios is setting out to create a future-ready ecosystem where creativity is not fragmented, but supported at every stage.
