Haflong : After a concerted marathon operation, the Dima Hasao police solved the Phainsoda Nunisa kidnapping case and arrested 3 prime accused from various parts of Dima Hasao and also recovered some ammunitions of M 16, army dress, blankets etc, stated Superintendent of Police Prashanta Saikia in a press briefing held in his office on 
Monday.
Phainsoda Nunisa the father of Sri Pobitra Nunisa of Waju Village was kidnapped on November 29th by some armed miscreants with an aim of extorting money. The kidnappers had hired a Maruti Eco van from Mahur with pretext of ferrying one old patient from Khepre but after reaching Hajong they threatening the driver with gun kidnapped Nunisa.
SP said that with the efforts of all the police station of Dima Hasao and of course the active cooperation of the people this kidnapping case could be solved. Answering the questions of the pressmen he also said there are possibilities to get more accused persons in the police net and hoping to bring in all the persons involved in the kidnapping case very soon. He further assured that the kidnapping was not the handy work of any insurgents and there is no such possibility to grow any insurgents groups in Dima Hasao.
The arrested persons were Moitush Thaosen, Diponjoy Jarambusa and Pritish Thaosen who have been put behind bar.
