Dr. Tristha Ramamurthy Conferred Nadaprabhu Kempegowda State Award 2026 for Outstanding Contributions to Education
Bengaluru : Dr. Tristha Ramamurthy, Founder of Ekya Schools and Provost of CMR University, was conferred the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda State Award in the Education and Social Sector category, at a ceremony held by the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Foundation to mark the 517th birth anniversary of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda.
The award was presented in the presence of several eminent dignitaries, including Hon’ble Vice President of India Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan as Chief Guest; Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka Shri Thawar Chand Gehlot; Union Ministers Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy and Shri V. Somanna; Leader of the Opposition, Karnataka, Shri R. Ashoka; former Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka Dr. C. N. Ashwath Narayan; and Prof. M. Krishnagowda, President of the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Foundation, among other dignitaries from public life, government, and religious institutions, including Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji.
