Earthquake of magnitude 5.8 hits J&K

In Jammu and Kashmir, an earthquake of magnitude 5.8 was experienced in the morning hours of today. This was the third quake to have hit the union territory in three days. Strong tremors were felt in most parts of the Kashmir Valley including Srinagar and also in Kishtwar, Doda and Jammu districts of Jammu province.However, there were no reports of any damage.

The earthquake occurred at 7 AM and its epicentre was is Tajikistan.
