Election Commission has relieved two officers of West Bengal from poll duty with immediate effect.
They are Sub-Divisional Police Officer Diamond Harbour, Mithun Kumar Dey and Office In-Charge of Amherst Street Police Station, Kaushik Das.
Official sources said the two officers will not be given any election related posts.
The action came in the wake of recent poll violence in Kolkata.
