Efforts to make Madhya Pradesh a role model of country

Bhopal: Small units will be expanded in Madhya Pradesh by linking research and development of science and technology with micro, small and medium enterprises, which will also inspire the country as a model. This was said by the Minister for Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises and Science & Technology  Om Prakash Sakhlecha during the round table conference held on Sunday.

National President of Vigyan Bharti,  Jayant Sahastrabuddhe, Secretary, MSME Department,  Vivek Porwal, D.G. of Science Technology Council, Madhya Pradesh  Anil Kothari and subject experts were present at the Round Table Conference held on the topic ‘Pradesh Ke Vikas Mein Vigyan evam Proudoyogiki Sansthanon Ki Bhumika-Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh Ke Bhavi Roadmap’  at Palash Residency. Minister  Sakhlecha said that due to Covid-19, changes in behaviour of market, consumer, technology, science etc. will be there for decades now. Priorities of industries have changed and new opportunities have emerged for micro, small and medium enterprises. He said that the trend of China’s products has decreased all over the world and this is the opportunity that gives us a message of becoming self-reliant to realize the Prime Minister’s resolution.  Sakhlecha further said that the objective of this conference is also that with the coordination of science and technology, we should come forward with full preparation for new entrepreneurs and new units as guardian.

 Minister  Sakhlecha said that he has urged the state government that some part of the amount of CSR head should be spent on research and development of science, technology. He said that now technology is changing very fast and in such a situation, we can compete with the world only by research and development.  He said that there is no dearth of talent in Madhya Pradesh, there is a need to show the right path to new entrepreneurs.  Sakhlecha said that hopefully that in the next 6-8 months, we will fill the vacant space of China’s products with the products of Madhya Pradesh by adopting a well-planned policy in this direction. He further added that to meet the needs of the units, we have to work on a plan.

National President of Vigyan Bharti,  Jayant Sahastrabuddhe said that Vigyan Bharti is in a coordinating role with industries, with the expectation of opening new doors of development in the country as per the views of Prime Minister  Modi. He said that with this coordination, Madhya Pradesh will contribute a lot to the country. Secretary of MSME Department  Porwal said that due to Covid there have been many permanent and temporary changes in the world, we are ready to convert new challenges into opportunities.  Anil Kothari informed about the outline of the conference. During the conference, presentation was made on both the sectors. In the second session of the conference, the points presented by the participants and institutions were discussed by the departments. Departments gave their consent to work on the new plan based on suggestions.
