East Delhi : Residents of Priya Enclave, East Delhi, celebrated the sacred occasion of Ekadashi with great devotion, enthusiasm, and spiritual fervour under the leadership of Shri Rajiv Chaudhary and Shri Shishir Sharma.
The celebration witnessed active participation from residents, devotees, senior citizens, women, and children who gathered to offer prayers and distribution of sweet milk drink of milk n rise by organising chabeel . and seek the blessings of Lord Vishnu. Special bhajans, devotional chanting, and spiritual discourses were organized, creating an atmosphere of peace, devotion, and community harmony.
Speaking on the occasion, community leaders emphasized the spiritual significance of Ekadashi, which is regarded as one of the most auspicious days in the Hindu calendar and is dedicated to the worship of Lord Vishnu. Devotees observed fasting and participated in prayers for the well-being, prosperity, and happiness of all. Ekadashi is traditionally observed as a day of self-discipline, devotion, and spiritual purification.
Shri Rajiv Chaudhary and Shri Shishir Sharma appreciated the wholehearted participation of residents and highlighted the importance of preserving India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage through such community celebrations. They encouraged the younger generation to remain connected with traditional values and participate actively in social and religious activities.
The programme concluded with collective prayers for peace, harmony, and the welfare of society, followed by the distribution of prasad among all devotees.
