Employment along with infrastructure development in rural areas: Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan will virtually dedicate 1584 infrastructures constructed at a cost of Rs 106 crore 4 lakh in rural areas of the state by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department on Sunday, October 11. Chief Minister  Chouhan will also hold discussion on various issues concerning rural areas with the panchayat heads of some districts during the dedication programme in Minto Hall at 10 am. Minister of State for Panchayat and Rural Development Department  Ram Khelavan Patel will also be present in the programme.   

The Panchayat and Rural Development Department started such works of infrastructure development in rural areas through which rural development besides availability of employment at the local level has been ensured during Corona disaster.  Chief Minister shr Shivraj Singh Chouhan will virtually dedicate 1584 fully -equipped structures costing Rs 106  crore 4 lakh constructed in the rural areas including 318 gram panchayat bhawan at a cost of Rs 44 crore 21 lakh, 262 community bhawan at a cost of Rs 34 crore 6 lakh and 1004 Samudayik Swachhata Parisars constructed at a cost of  Rs 27 crore 59 lakh.

All these infrastructures to be dedicated are in the 33 districts unaffected by-elections. Construction works of districts where assembly by-elections are to be held are not included in this programme. Chief Minister  Chouhan will hold discussions with panchayat heads in some districts during the dedication programme. In the virtual programme, departmental officers and public representatives posted in districts including state level senior officers will also be present. The programme will also be broadcast on cmevents.mp.gov.in.
