SIVASAGAR : The concluding ceremony of the 10-day recitation, yoga and language learning workshop held on July 15 at the initiative of Sundaram Kavya Kanan Recitation School was also successfully completed. School president Jouti Bora Bhuyan presided over the open meeting held at the auditorium of Thanuram Gogoi Memorial Higher Secondary School. The open ceremony was hosted by school principal Usha Gogoi. At the beginning of the meeting, Jitu Baruadev, principal of Thanuram Gogoi Memorial Higher Secondary School, lit the foundation. Sivasagar branch secretary Mamani Gogoi Hazarika delivered the welcome address of the meeting. School president Jouti Bora Bhuyan and yoga training were specially felicitated by Kalpana Budhagohai, Zone Sh Ikia Duvara from the school.
The closing ceremony was accompanied by the release of a collection of “Kaumudi” by a single woman edited by Usha Gogoi and Namita Bara. The book mine was unveiled by eminent writer, eminent social worker Anjali Hazarika. He unveiled the book and said that a fine poem has been compiled, expressing great joy by reading the poems of the poets. Prominent singer Jinarani Dutta Bhuyan also unveiled a handwritten magazine titled “Ek Akni Gungun” edited by Recitation School students Manam Koneng Milli and Green Well Old Age. Pradeep Bhuyan, former principal of Bezbaruah Higher Secondary School, Jinarani Dutta Bhunia Disease Coach Kalpana Budhagohai, Minti Dutta, who was the guest of honour at the meeting, made valuable statements. Namita Bara, Ruparekha Baruah, Jyotimani Sh Ikia Etc. made important comments about the event. The summer workshop was finally concluded with the president’s comments and national anthem performances.
