New Delhi: The government said that ethanol blending in petrol from November last year to October this year has resulted in a foreign exchange savings of more than 28,400 crore rupees.
In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Suresh Gopi clarified that the government has not launched any programme for ethanol blending in diesel.
