Kokrajhar: With the objectives of market promotion of products by self help groups, an exhibition cum sales of industrial products is being organised at District Industries & Commerce Centres (DICC), Kokrajhar beginning 
today.
The exhibition-cum-sale commenced with its inauguration by GM, DI&CC, Kokrajhar H D Das. Das spoke about the objective of organizing the exhibition cum sales of industrial products which was to empower the self help group members, most of whom are women.
“We can popularize the products of the SHGs through such bazaars, he said.
A range of tribal products is on display at the three days exhibition including handicraft, cane & bamboo products, organic and natural products, metal crafts etc .
Deputy Secretary Industries and Commerce, BTC Kuldeep Baumatary, Principal of Kokrajhar Commerce College and others were among those present during the inaugural function. A total 27 self help groups are participating in the exhibitions. The programme will go on till 31 January next.
