New Delhi: Farmers have defied the conditions set by the Delhi Police for the tractor rally and have started their rally two hours ahead of scheduled time leading to chaos and clashes with cops at many places in the National Capital Region.
Our Correspondent reports that farmers have deviated from the route for the tractor rally set by Delhi, breached barricades and clashed with police in the national capital. Police used tear gas shells to disperse the protesting farmers at ITO in central Delhi.
Delhi Police today appealed to the protesting farmers to maintain peace. A senior official of Delhi Police urged them to not take law in their hands. This came as protesting farmers have deviated from the route for the tractor rally set by the Delhi police. There are also reports of violence by them in some parts of the national capital.
