Farmers will get ten hours of uninterrupted power supply for irrigation: CM Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Shahganj in Sehore district on Sunday and interacted with farmers directly. In a programme organized in Shahganj Nagar Parishad, Chief Minister  Chouhan said that continuous works are being undertaken in the interest of farmers in the state. Chief Minister  Chouhan said that farmers will be provided 10 hours of non-stop electricity supply. This supply will be provided in shifts in a week. While for one week electricity will be supplied in the daytime, the next week it will be provided for 10 hours at night. The farmers also agreed on this.    

Chief Minister  Chouhan said that there will be no shortage of funds for schemes being run for the public. Mukhya Mantri Samman Nidhi will be deposited in the accounts of farmers on December 3. At the same time, all eligible beneficiaries will be given benefits in all the schemes run for the elderly, children, women and students.

Chief Minister  Chouhan said that no goons, crooks, mafia will be spared. Strict action is being taken against those who exploit people and violate their rights. Such people can either mend their ways or leave the state. Such people will not be spared. Chief Minister  Chouhan discussed the issues with the local people and also heard their problems.  Chouhan accepted applications on the spot and issued instructions to the Collector and Chief Executive Officer to resolve the applications within the time limit. Local MP  Ramakant Bhargav was also present on the occasion.
