Hyderabad: FICCI Telangana State Council to organise an Interactive Webinar on ‘Transparent Taxation- Honouring The Honest TaxPayers’ here in the city on Friday, 11th September 2020 at 16:00hrs. It will be held virtually on Webex & YouTube live Stream platforms.
This session is the fourth in the series of FICCI DIALOGUE FOR ACTIONABLE INSIGHTS.
The speakers include Mallika Arya, IRS, Chief Commissioner of Hyderabad GST & Customs Zone and Shri. J .B. Mohapatra, IRS, Principal CCIT – Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Region
The first three sessions hosted earlier were graced by Rajnish Kumar, CMD, State Bank of India; Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce and ICT, Government of Telangana and Dr.Jagdish Sheth, Padma Bhushan 2020 Awardee.
Now it brings the next edition of FIDAI.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently launched a platform for “Transparent Taxation – Honoring the Honest” aimed at easing compliance and expediting refunds, benefiting honest taxpayers.
It also aims to meet the requirements of the 21st-century taxation system. The facilities launched are a part of the Government’s resolve to provide maximum governance with minimum government.
While launching, Shri Modi announced that every rule, law and policy were made with an emphasis of them being people-centric, public-friendly rather than power centric. The highlights of PMs Announcement include reforms like Faceless Assessment, Faceless Appeal and Taxpayers Charter is another milestone in our journey of structural reforms which will tremendously boost the confidence of the taxpayers in the country.
