New Delhi : Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) has announced the launch of its Future Leaders Fellowship, an exclusive initiative aimed at identifying and accelerating high-potential individuals ready to take on leadership roles in business, technology, and consulting.
Designed as one of India’s most selective MBA talent fellowships, the program will identify only 10 exceptional candidates from thousands of applicants, offering them a 100% tuition fee waiver for FIIB’s PGDM program, along with access to high-impact career opportunities and leadership development pathways.
Speaking on the initiative, Prof. Radhika Shrivastava, President & CEO, FIIB, said,
“The Future Leaders Fellowship is not just about offering financial support – it is about recognizing exceptional potential early and nurturing it with the right exposure, mentorship, and opportunities. At FIIB, we aim to build leaders who are not only industry-ready but future-ready, capable of driving meaningful impact in a rapidly evolving global landscape.”
The evaluation will be conducted by an esteemed jury comprising industry leaders and experts, including Saurabh Mittal, Executive Coach and Ex-Fractal Analytics Leader; Amitabh Jhingan, Partner at EY Parthenon and Co-Chair, FICCI K-12 Committee; and Manish Kheterpal, Managing Partner at WaterBridge Ventures, among others.
The fellowship is designed for final-year undergraduate students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals who have demonstrated initiative beyond academics whether through projects, leadership roles, or problem-solving in real-world contexts and are looking to accelerate their careers through management education.
The fellowship follows a multi-stage selection process, designed to identify high-potential candidates through a holistic evaluation:
• Application or Nomination: Candidates can either apply directly or be nominated by faculty members.
• Application Screening: Review of academic background, achievements, and overall profile
• Leadership Assessment: Evaluation through career aspiration mapping, problem-solving exercises, and personal interactions
• Final Jury Round: Shortlisted candidates present their profiles before an esteemed industry panel
Candidates are assessed on key parameters including academic and analytical strength, leadership initiative, problem-solving ability, career clarity, and overall potential
Beyond the full tuition support, selected fellows will benefit from fast-track career acceleration opportunities, including exposure to consulting projects, leadership labs, and high-visibility roles across domains such as analytics, finance, marketing, and consulting. The initiative also recognizes the role of educators in shaping future talent. Faculty members whose nominees are selected among the top 10 will receive an Academic Excellence Award of ₹20,000, while their institutions will be granted ₹1,00,000 towards an Employability Lab, further strengthening industry-academia collaboration.
The selection process is currently underway, with the nomination deadline set for April 20th, 2026, followed by the application deadline on April 30th, shortlist announcement on May 10th, final jury round on May 25th and fellowship results to be announced on May 30th, 2026.
With this initiative, FIIB aims to redefine how management talent is identified and nurtured by moving beyond conventional metrics to focus on leadership potential, initiative, and real-world impact.
