Kokrajhar: The CISF fire safety wing celebrated Fire Service Day at NTPC Bongaigaon, today at the fire station, Salakati in Kokrajhar district CISF will be observing Fire Service Week from 14.04.21 to 20.04.21.
Subrata Mandal, ED, NTPC, Bongaigaon inaugurated the program with a fire service pledge. Mandal applauded the commitment and dedication of CISF fire safety wing towards maintaining a safe environment.He also appealed for creating a safe environment at work place and in personal life taking precautions to avoid any accident.
Mandal also flagged off a fire control vehicle for safety of the plant. A minute of silence was also observed as a homage to the martyrs of fire services
On the occasion, G.M.Thangzom, Unit Commandant (CISF), M.S.Kandhari, Asst. Commandant, Fire, Kirti Yadav, Asst. Commandant, Fire, D P Patra, GM (Operations), Induri Reddy, GM (Maintenance), Shri Arunashis Das, GM (Operations), Sandip Das, AGM (Safety/FQA), Shashi Shekhar, AGM(HR), senior officials of present on the occasion.
Several activities related to Fire safety are planned for NTPC employees, Family members and CISF personnel during the week.
