GUWAHATI : State finance minister Ajanta Neog on Saturday released an e-mail ID and WhatsApp number seeking suggestions from the people for the upcoming state budget to be presented in the budget session of the state assembly to begin from July 12.
The email ID is [email protected] and the WhatsApp number is 7636879019.
All sections of the citizens of the state can email and WhatsApp the minister, giving their suggestions for the upcoming budget.
This will be the first budget of chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma led BJP-AGP-UPPL government in the state.
“We are preparing a budget for the benefit of all sections of people of the state,” Neog said while releasing the WhatsApp number and the email ID.
The government will accept such email and WhatsApp messages till July 3.
The budget will primarily focus on providing self-employment to the unemployed youth during the second wave of the pandemic situation.
