Bengaluru: FOO is adding another address to Bengaluru’s dining map, with its fourth restaurant in the city at Essensai 067,bringing the much-loved Pan-Asian experience to a new space in Whitefield. The latest restaurant carries the familiar FOO spirit while introducing a fresh setting shaped around bold colour, contemporary design by Sarah Sham, and the lively energy that has become synonymous with the brand.

Spanning approximately 2900 sq. ft. with a seating capacity of 97 guests, the new FOO brings the brand’s unmistakable visual language into a setting that feels distinctly its own. Bold reds and cobalt blues are layered with warm timber, stone, marble, brass, and soft upholstery, creating a space that feels vibrant yet inviting. An arched entrance opens into a series of considered dining and social spaces, where sculptural lighting, graphic artwork, and a flowing terrazzo floor add character at every turn. At the centre, the bar anchors the room, while the atmosphere shifts subtly as guests move through the restaurant, from the warmth and buzz of the dining room to the more intimate energy around the bar.

The experience further extends into a covered outdoor pergola designed for Bengaluru evenings. Framed by ceiling fans and clusters of tables, the space is anchored by a DJ console that brings in a more social, after-dark energy. Together, both the areas create a restaurant that can move effortlessly between a relaxed meal, an evening of cocktails, and a livelier night out.

At the heart of the experience is FOO’s Pan-Asian menu, curated by Chef Eric Sifu, featuring over 100 varieties of Asian tapas spanning sushi, dim sum, Nikkei dishes, and Peruvian ceviche. Standout dishes include the FOO Blue Butter Japanese Fried Rice with FOO Yellow Curry, Truffle Togarashi Black Rice Maki, Truffle Lobster Dumplings, and Charcoal Har Gow with gold dust, alongside plant-forward highlights like the Wasabi, Truffle & Edamame. There is a natural balance between the classics that keep guests coming back and more playful preparations that bring something different to the table, with each plate adding its own flavour, texture, and character to the spread.

The menu is particularly suited to the way Bengaluru likes to dine: collectively, generously, and with plenty of reasons to keep ordering. Plates are made to travel across the table, with contrasting textures, bright flavours, spice, umami, and freshness creating a menu where there is always something else worth trying. It is the kind of food that turns dinner into a conversation about what to order next, with the table often becoming a running list of dishes that need to make a second appearance.

The bar carries the same sense of discovery, with cocktails drawing on Asian ingredients like yuzu, miso, sake, and house-infused spirits. Also on offer is FOO Brew, a Japanese rice crisp beer, light and refreshing, and designed to pair seamlessly with FOO’s sushi, dim sum, and small plates. Together, the drinks complement the flavours of the menu while bringing their own distinct character to the table.

Speaking about the launch, Ryan Tham and Keenan Tham, Founders, Pebble Street Hospitality, shared, “Bengaluru has shown us a lot of love and has always been a city we have wanted to keep growing with, and opening our fourth restaurant in Essensai 067 felt like the right next step. We wanted the new space to feel familiar enough for people who already know FOO, but still give them something new to discover, particularly through the way the food, drinks, music, and space come together. At the end of the day, FOO has always been about having a great time around a table, and that is exactly what we wanted to create here.”

With its first restaurant in the Whitefield area of Bengaluru, FOO continues to build on the dining experience that has defined the brand across its restaurants, bringing its expansive Pan-Asian menu into a new setting while giving the city another space to experience the food, design, drinks, and energy that have become synonymous with FOO.
