The application campaign for participation in the Eighth Season of Gazprom International Children’s Social Programme is drawing to a close: the last applications will be accepted up until October 31, 2020. The Prize Fund is the tickets for the 2021 UEFA Champions League Final in Istanbul.
Every football fan aged 12 to 15, regardless of nationality, gender, or physical abilities, has a chance to take part in the international events of the Football for Friendship. Participation in the programme is absolutely free.
The main events will be held from November 27 to December 9, 2020, including the following activities:
– Online International Football for Friendship Camp (tutorials and training for Young Players), as well as the International Children’s Press Center (training and practice for Young Journalists);
– Online International Football for Friendship Forum (discussion of the best initiatives in the development of children and youth sports with experts and coaches);
– Football for Friendship eWorld Championship to be held in a new online football simulator.
“Football for Friendship has transformed its 2020 season into the online format – it’s a great and brave decision. The developers have supported the kids and done a colossal job. The events of this season will be held on the Digital Platform and in the Football for Friendship World football simulator. It will be the basis for the championship, but, as usual, the programme will unite young football fans from all over the world,” comments legendary footballer Roberto Carlos on the special features of the new season. “Besides, the winners will receive a great prize – tickets for the 2021 UEFA Champions League Final in Istanbul.”
