This rare collaboration brings Bangkok’s celebrated bar culture to Bengaluru, in an atmosphere shaped by discretion, elegance, and understated indulgence.
At the helm is Oscar Eksiam Paul, Senior Bartender at Opium Bar Bangkok, a bar recognised on both Asia’s 50 Best Bars and the World’s 50 Best Bars lists. A Thai-French mixologist, Oscar is known for his precision, creativity, and layered flavour profiles. Recognised as Champion at Sips of Peru 2025 for his award-winning cocktail La Diablada, his creations are aromatic, complex, and fruit-forward, balancing technique with narrative. Guests will experience his signature A Piece of Mars, alongside a curated selection of Opium Bar favourites, thoughtfully presented in collaboration with the in-house bar team at JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa.
The evenings will open with a champagne sabering ceremony at the entrance, setting the tone for what promises to be an immersive and indulgent night followed by a crafted welcome cocktail. Guests are then taken through a progression of distinctive serves introduced by Oscar himself. A selection of refined vegetarian and non-vegetarian tapas, inspired by Neo-Karnataka cuisine, complements the experience, enhancing its sensory depth. A curated club music set , elevated by a live DJ and percussionist, brings a subtle rhythm to the night, while preserving the intimate, speakeasy mood.
