Hyderabad: The Infrastructure, Real Estate & Smart Cities Committee of FTCCI (The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry) is organising a very useful and need-of-the-hour program on Electrical and Fire Safety for Industries and Residential Buildings as the summer season is beginning.

The onset of summer every year is usually accompanied by a rise in fire incidents.  In this light of the background, FTCCI is organising a program on Electrical and Fire Safety for Industries and Residential Buildings to equip people with essential knowledge and tools to ensure electrical and fire safety in all premises.

Mr Y. Nagi Reddy, Director General, Telangana Fire Disaster Response Emergency and Civil Defence Department, Government of Telangana and a prominent expert from industry will be the chief guest at the program

The experts will provide the latest trends, best practices, regulatory updates, compliance requirements, demonstration of fire preventive techniques, insights on minimizing risks and emergency preparedness etc and more.

Earth is the only known planet where fire can burn. Fire can double every 30 seconds.  Given the right conditions, it takes just ½ a minute for a fire to double in size. It is self-sustaining.  It’s a process that fuels itself endlessly. Fire can make trees explode.  You can make water with fire.  You can start a fire using water. An odd fact about fire is that even though firefighters use water to put out fires, water can also be used to start a fire. Pure water isn’t flammable but one of its main components, hydrogen, is. Once a forest fire begins, it can spread at a rate of up to 25 kilometres per hour
