HYDERABAD: The 6th edition of WAREMAT (Warehousing & Material Handling Expo) is set to kick off today at Hyderabad, bringing together industry leaders and innovators in the warehousing, logistics, and material handling sectors. Spanning three days until November 9, the expo promises to showcase cutting-edge solutions and technologies shaping the future of the industry.
Following the success of its previous editions in Coimbatore and Chennai, WAREMAT makes its grand debut in Hyderabad, a hub for industrial and technological advancements. “We’re excited to host WAREMAT in Hyderabad, a city that’s rapidly emerging as a key player in the logistics and warehousing landscape,” said Mr. D Vivekanandhan, Director, Midaas Touch Events and Trade Fairs.
The event has already garnered significant interest, with over 10,000 visitors and 125 exhibitors participating in the recent Coimbatore edition. The expo is expected to provide a valuable platform for industry professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders to connect, collaborate, and explore new business opportunities.
Sri R Ravikumar, President, FTCCI (Federation of Telanganna Chambers of Commerce & Industry), graced the occasion, highlighting the importance of WAREMAT in promoting industry growth and innovation.
Mr. M Vinoth Kumar, Co-Chairman, Skill Development Sub-Committee, Andhra Chamber of Commerce, also graced the occassion as a Guest of Honor, emphasizing the need for skill development and knowledge sharing in the sector.
WAREMAT 2025 is poised to be a landmark event, driving conversations and innovation in the warehousing and logistics industry.
Leading brands, including Nilkamal, Kion, TVS, Lugong, Jungheinrich, Haul and many more successfully sold their Forklifts and Equipment at the expo.
WAREMAT has grown into South India’s premier industrial sourcing platform, bringing together industry leaders, decision-makers, and technology providers under one roof, he noted.
When asked why he chose Hyderabad for the expo, Mr Vivekanandhan said that no one has attempted to explore the burgeoning markets in supply chain, warehousing, logistics and storage and the time has come for Midaas Touch to make use of the big opportunities available in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The state of Hyderabad is embracing all types of technological innovations with the use of AI and automation, all for materials handling and the optimum use of spaces avaliable for storing and other purposes, he said.
The expo would also benefit MSMEs and the market in Hyderabad with regional offices could be a catalyst for industrial development and economic growth.
