Navi Mumbai — For one afternoon, NMIMS Navi Mumbai’s campus turned into the set of an esports broadcast, as the institute hosted a spirited S8UL Gaming and Esports Event. Three popular S8UL personalities, Mr. Jay, HeadFlicker, and Binks, joined students for a day that mixed competitive gaming with candid, face-to-face conversation.
A FIFA tournament ran alongside, anchoring the day’s energy as students battled through semi-finals before two top teams met in the final, followed by an Audience FIFA Challenge, where a lucky student went head-to-head with a visiting creator.
A nostalgic Watch Party followed, with the creators adding live commentary to iconic S8UL moments, before an open Q&A where students asked about building a career in content creation and handling setbacks the audience never sees.
The day closed with a Meet and Greet, giving students photos and personal moments with the creators.
Beyond entertainment, the event gave NMIMS students an unscripted window into competitive gaming and content creation, reflecting the institute’s commitment to experiences that speak to student passions.
