Dance and Fitness app “Godatu” recently concluded its People’s Choice Dance Awards. The event took place virtually with an aim to motivate young dancers and their talent. Voting was open to people through the various social channels of Godatu by way of a Google form. All categories along with the nominees from across the globe were mentioned, from which people could choose their favourites.
The winners included Kings United India in the Dance Crew of the Year category, Autumn Miller won the Female Dancer of the Year Award, Alex Wong won the Male Dancer of the Year Award, Suresh Mukund (Kings United India) won the Choreographer of the Year Award, The Wilking Sisters won the Social Media Dancer of the Year Award, Sonal Devraj won the Female Dancer of the Year – India award and Mohan Pandey won the Male Dancer of the Year – India Award. The outcome of the gala event was the encouragement users got that anybody can dance and learn from trained and professional dancers through the Godatu app. Solely based on the voting process, the awards showcased pure talent, free from any biased opinion.
