Kokrajhar: The 29th annual convention of Gossaigaon district Bodo Sahitya Sabha (BSS) concluded on Sunday after a two-day programme scheduled at Patakata High School playground in Kokrajhar.
As per the program today, president of Gossaigaon district BSS Sahendra Nath Basumatary hoisted sabha flag in the morning today followed by homage to martyrs.
BSS general secretary Prasanta Boro grace the Open Session as chief guest. BTC executive member Education department Dr Nilut Swargiary, BTC executive member Ukil Mushahary, ABSU vice president Kwrwmdao Wary attended as guests and addressed the gathering.
The Bodo sabha discussed on the upliftment and development of the Bodo language and educational development in the delegate session of the conference where delegates from different 13 primary committee’s participated. Three books were released during the program.
Bodo Sahitya Sabha general secretary Prasanta Boro said that the Bodo Sahitya Sabha has been working for the welfare and development of Bodo language and educational environment since it’s inception in the state.
