NEW DELHI : GoTrust, a privacy, security and data governance platform, has introduced Version 2.1 with improvements aimed at helping businesses set up and manage their privacy compliance programmes more easily. The update focuses on faster deployment, simpler workflows and improved platform stability as organisations navigate requirements under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other privacy regulations.
According to company-reported figures, Version 2.1 enables organisations to go live up to 30% faster, reduces the steps involved in common tasks, such as consent setup and handling data subject requests, by around 25%, and has 40% fewer reported bugs than Version 1.1. GoTrust has also reported a 20% reduction in setup-related support queries.
The update addresses some of the everyday challenges faced by privacy and compliance teams, including lengthy implementation timelines, complicated workflows and technical issues that can interrupt routine tasks. By making the platform easier to navigate and resolving issues identified in the earlier version, GoTrust aims to help teams spend less time on setup and troubleshooting and more time managing compliance requirements.
Version 2.1 builds on GoTrust’s existing platform, which brings consent management, privacy automation, data governance, Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and AI governance together. With on-premise and software-as-a-service (SaaS) deployment options and more than 300 pre-built integrations across systems, applications and AI models, the platform is designed to support organisations with different technology environments and data governance needs.
Commenting on the update, Himanshu Gautam, Founder & CEO, GoTrust, said:
“Privacy compliance is becoming an ongoing responsibility for businesses, with teams required to manage multiple regulations and processes at the same time. However, the tools they use should not add to that complexity. With Version 2.1, we have focused on making GoTrust easier to set up, simpler to use and more reliable in everyday operations. These improvements are aimed at helping organisations manage compliance work more efficiently as their requirements evolve.”
The improved workflows are intended to support privacy, security, compliance and data teams across their daily responsibilities, from managing consent and data subject requests to conducting assessments and maintaining governance processes. Faster deployment can also help organisations bring their compliance programmes into operation sooner.
With this update, GoTrust continues to build on its integrated approach to privacy and data governance, focusing on practical improvements that help enterprises manage compliance with greater ease and efficiency.
