Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has on Monday said on Monday that in Madhya Pradesh
Government employees and their dependents will be able to undergo tests and treatment in 93 recognized private hospitals within the state. Till now the government servants could not get medical reimbursement for their treatment in private hospitals.
However government officials and employees can now avail treatment of various diseases in private hospitals identified by the government and also get medical reimbursement.
The Chief Minister said that government employees and their dependents can avail treatment of serious ailments like kidney transplant, homo dialysis, cancer disease, hip, knee-elbow shoulder partial replacement, mammography, MRI CT scan, Cochlear implant, heart disease, head injury, neuro surgery and spinal surgery besides tests and treatment of other diseases. After test and treatment, the government employee will also be able to get medical reimbursement from his department.
Festival advance and payment of arrears to employees
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken the decision to provide arrears and festival advance in the interest of government officials and employees of the state. Orders have been issued by the government to give 25 percent of the third installment of the 7 th pay and festival advance Rs. 10,000 to
Class IV employees. Officers and employees of various departments will get this amount before
Deepawali. The state government has also taken the decision in the interest of the employees, that the
festival advance will be given offline in the treasury, so that the employees get the festival advance on
time. The process of payment of arrears of 7 th pay scale has also begun. This way, Rs 775 crore will be
distributed to officers and employees before Deepawali. Apart from this, an additional arrangement of Rs 150 crore has been made for the payment of advance and arrears to the employees of Corporation, Board.
Facility in test and treatment of Covid-19
Approval has also been given for the treatment of government servants of M.P. Government and
dependent members of their families who are infected by Covid-19 in non-government private hospitals
(private hospitals registered under the Nursing Home Act) in all the districts of Madhya Pradesh.
Reimbursement of medical expenses after treatment in these hospitals will be given. The order related to the payment of medical dues as per rules of the government servant by the concerned department after the signature of the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Hospital Superintendent Madhya Pradesh on the medical bills of Covid-19 treatment of the concerned government servant through the department has been issued earlier.
