Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh has said that elements across the border are continuously attempting to foment trouble in Jammu and Kashmir. However, he said that our forces are capable enough to deal with any challenge adding that the graph of terrorist activities in the state are decreasing on each passing day with continuous efforts and sacrifices of Police and Security Forces. This was stated by Mr Singh during his visit to Kishtwar yesterday during which he reviewed the security scenario of the district.
The DGP directed the officers and Jawans to continue to remain for efficient maintenance of peace as has been done in the past for so many days after reorganization of J&K. He emphasized on enhanced coordination and synergy among all security agencies for achieving desired results. He also inaugurated the CCTV Monitoring System at Police Control Room, Kishtwar and directed the monitoring team to maintain vigil on the activities of anti-national, anti-social elements and trouble mongers.
