GreenCell Mobility’s NueGo Partners with L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited to Enable Seamless Green Travel

Hyderabad : NueGo, India’s leading intercity bus brand by GreenCell Mobility, today announced a first-of-its-kind integration with L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited (LTMRHL), making the Hyderabad Metro a seamless, zero-extra-cost part of every NueGo intercity journey. Passengers booking an intercity NueGo ticket can now use Metro Rail connectivity for their first mile – to reach the NueGo boarding point or their last mile, from the NueGo drop point to their destination and is accessible at all metro stations.

Passengers can opt for L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited connectivity while booking their intercity NueGo ticket, covering either the first or last mile. The Metro ride is seamlessly linked to the NueGo PNR with no separate booking or payment required. At the station, passengers simply present their NueGo PNR ticket to collect the Metro ticket.

Speaking on the partnership, Mr. Devndra Chawla, MD & CEO, GreenCell Mobility, said “At NueGo, we believe the future of mobility lies in creating connected, seamless ecosystems rather than isolated solutions. Our partnership with Hyderabad Metro Rail represents exactly that vision, where clean-energy intercity travel meets efficient urban transit to deliver a truly integrated commuter experience.”

The integration enables a seamless, fully green door-to-door journey by combining electric buses with Metro Rail, while also offering flexible first- and last-mile connectivity at both departure and arrival points. The integration represents a structural shift in how intercity and urban transit interact in India. Rather than treating the Metro as a separate system, passengers must navigate independently, NueGo has embedded it into the intercity booking flow – making it operationally invisible to the passenger while delivering a measurably better travel experience. The partnership also reinforces the environmental case for integrated public transit; by chaining an electric intercity bus with Metro Rail, passengers can complete a full intercity trip from origin to destination without a single fossil-fuel vehicle in the chain.

The integrated service is available for NueGo routes operating through Hyderabad and will be accessible at designated LTMRHL Metro stations across the city’s three corridors. NueGo’s app and website will surface the Metro connectivity option at the time of ticket booking, and the PNR-linked Metro ticket arrangement will be honoured at participating station counters. The Hyderabad partnership is expected to go live on timeline, with plans to scale across additional metro stations.
