GSFC University Marks 80th Independence Day with Focus on Education, Employability and Nation-Building

Vadodara : As India celebrates its 80th Independence Day, GSFC University reaffirmed its commitment to nation-building by preparing young minds with knowledge, skills and industry exposure for a future-ready India.

The celebrations commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony led by Shri P.K. Taneja, President, GSFC University and IAS (Retd.). The ceremony was followed by vibrant cultural performances by students, reflecting the spirit of patriotism, unity and India’s rich cultural diversity. Provost (Vice Chancellor) Shri G.R. Sinha, Deputy Director (Administration) & Campus Director Shri Mahesh Barot, along with teaching and non-teaching staff, were also present on the occasion.

Established in 2015 with two programmes and 141 students, GSFC University has grown into a multidisciplinary institution offering more than 21 academic programmes to over 3,400 students, with a diverse campus comprising 57% boys, 43% girls and six international students. Aligned with the National Education Policy, the University has also introduced four five-year integrated programmes with flexible exit options.

At GSFC University, our commitment is to remain Industry-Aligned, Technology-Driven and Future-Ready, nurturing young minds to become innovators, entrepreneurs and responsible nation-builders.” said Shri PK Taneja, President GSFC University, IAS (Retd), on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day.
