Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani welcomed the Prime Minister’s announcement of free food grains to 80 crore poor till November under Prime Minister’s Garib Kalyan Anna Yojna.
Mr. Rupani said, the decision to extend the scheme will help the poor families, who had suffered the most due to lockdown following Covid19. Mr Rupani also described ‘One Nation: One Ration Card’ a pro-poor decision.
State BJP President Jitu Vaghani also praised Prime Minister’s announcement as pro-poor. He said that the Prime Minister’s decision reflects the principle of Antyoday- laid down by Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay.
