Gujarat State School Textbook Board has put textbooks of standards 6 to 12 of the state board on-line in PDF format. The students can now download these books free of cost.
The move helps in the availability of books for teachers and students even before the opening of schools. When there is shortage of text books, students would be able to download them on-line to get print outs of relevant chapters. The Board has also decided to make textbooks available in e-pub format to offer real-book-reading experience to the students.
