New Delhi : Vitonnix, a UK-developed preventive healthcare startup has raised its first institutional capital in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The round saw participation from other investors, including practising doctors and bollywood actors, such as Riteish Deshmukh & Boman Irani, singer Jaspinder Narula and film producer Madhu Mantena. The funds will be used to strengthen its senior leadership team, build a consumer-growth engine, expand distribution channels and enter new international markets.

Vitonnix was founded through an observation from a clinical practice where the gap between supplement intake and the body’s natural ability to absorb the nutrients highlighted the need for effective delivery methods. SubliSpray®, a range of sublingual nutritional sprays are designed for absorption through oral mucosa with each formulation built for the spray itself with attention to ingredient compatibility, dose consistency, taste and stability, rather than adapted from a tablet. It took over a decade of research to build this platform, including three completed clinical studies on key formulations.

Commenting on the fund raise, Vinay Bansal, Co-founder, IPV, says, “Vitonnix stood out because it’s more than a consumer supplement brand. It pairs clinical leadership with differentiated delivery technology and proprietary formulations, and Dr Jindal and his team have built the business with real capital discipline. We believe Vitonnix has the potential to create a global impact in preventive healthcare, and we wanted to be part of that journey.”

Vitonnix was launched by three practising doctors: Dr Prashant Jindal, a UK-based refractive eye surgeon; Dr Deepti Jindal, a dermatologist; and Dr Rajesh Handa, an oral surgeon. Dr Prashant Jindal has practised for more than twenty years, serves an international patient base, and is a HarperCollins-published author and the founder of several philanthropic initiatives. The wider team includes doctors from India and the UK, formulation scientists and regulatory specialists.

Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Director of Orthopedics at Max Hospitals, leads Vitonnix’s medical team in India and is part of the company’s core leadership. Bringing extensive frontline clinical expertise, he plays a pivotal role in shaping Vitonnix’s medical strategy, product innovation, and long-term vision of making nutritional supplementation more effective, convenient, and accessible.

Dr Prashant Jindal, Co-founder, Vitonnix, said, “Vitonnix began in the United Kingdom with a clinical question, but the ambition was always global. We spent more than a decade building the company properly, from formulation science to manufacturing and international regulation, before taking institutional capital. India gave us the scientific talent and manufacturing base to scale, while our British clinical roots established the standards behind every product. IPV’s backing recognises the healthcare platform we have built and the lives we believe it can change.”

Originally developed in the UK, Vitonnix has its research, formulation and manufacturing base in India, with global operations managed from London & Birmingham. They have already sold millions of bottles and built a loyal customer base largely on founder capital. Its precision spray systems are engineered in Germany, and patent applications have been filed for its bottle designs and formulations. Indian consumers have access to the same formulations, components and quality standards as those offered in the international markets.

Vitonnix has undertaken product registrations, regulatory filings and market-entry work across the UK, US, UAE & India. In India, early support from the Tata group helped bring the brand to market, followed by a co-branded range within the Tata ecosystem. Vitonnix is also preparing to launch its initial range of 10 products, with a UK rollout planned for 2026, as an early test of the company’s regulatory readiness with a major Boots, a well reputed British retailer. They have also taken their delivery platform into companion-animal health through Vetonnix, which they describe as the world’s first oral nutritional spray platform for pets. The initial range covers skin and coat, calming support, multivitamins, growth and development, and bones and joints, and is meant to ease the difficulty of giving pets pills and powders.

The markets Vitonnix operates in are growing quickly. IMARC Group estimates that India’s nutraceuticals market will grow from USD 8.93 billion in 2025 to USD 23.09 billion by 2034, and MarketsandMarkets expects Europe’s dietary supplements market to rise from USD 45.75 billion in 2025 to USD 64.03 billion by 2030. Grand View Research values the global pet supplements market at USD 2.8 billion in 2025 and projects USD 4.6 billion by 2033. Vitonnix will keep building in India and use the UK as its gateway to Europe, with retail distribution, strategic healthcare partnerships and regulatory expansion as the next priorities.
