Heatwave: Delhi CM says labourers across govt and private sectors must be given break between 1 PM and 4 PM

Amid heatwave conditions in the National Capital, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that all labourers across the government and private sectors must be given a break between 1 PM and 4 PM. In a video message, she informed that the Delhi government has already issued directions in this regard. She further announced key relief measures, including water availability in Delhi Transport Corporation buses, deployment of Jalsevaks at bus shelters with water and ORS, and strengthened medical preparedness in hospitals with cooling areas.
