During this time, people were also pleading not to mobilize the people gathered at one place. The ASM government has said that the curfew was increased because the district administration has feared peace in the district. According to the report of the intelligence agency, the government has issued a high alert, fearing a communal conflict in Assam.Islamic organizations are trying to make Assam’s situation worse. According to the earlier order, the curfew was to end at seven in the morning.Earlier, indefinite curfew was imposed only in Sonitpur district after the clash. Officials said the district administration sought the army’s help after a clash between members of the two communities. He said at least 30 people were injured, of which three were in critical condition. More than 10 vehicles were damaged in the clashes in the entire city and 5 shops were set on fire after being vandalized.
