The Himachal Pradesh government has decided to prepare a list of beneficiaries of various welfare schemes of the state and central government for better coordination and liaison. In a video conference with BDOs and deputy commissioners, Chief Minister Jairam Thakur directed officers that the beneficiaries list of welfare schemes must be readily available with panchayats by the 10th of this month. He directed the officials to upload the Webex software to the beneficiaries’ mobiles and train them so that the state government can get continuous feedback on the welfare schemes running in the state.
He said display panels should also be installed in every panchayat so that video conference held by the state government could also be displayed to the general public as well. Jairam Thakur expressed satisfaction that all the developmental works of the state are progressing smoothly amid the COVID19 epidemic. He said that COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to work with more dedication by adopting various strategies.
