Hyderabad records best commercial market performance since 2020; Witnesses historic high residential sales in 2024

Hyderabad: Knight Frank India in its latest report, India Real Estate: Residential and Office (July – December 2023) cited that Hyderabad has recorded its best office transaction volumes since 2020 with volumes rising by 17% year-on-year (YoY) to 10.3 mn sq ft while completions reached an all-time high in 2024. This demand is fueled by a variety of factors including the city’s exceptional quality of life and state-of-the-art infrastructure, enhancing its appeal to both national and international companies.

The residential market of Hyderabad recorded a healthy YoY growth of 12%, sold 36,974 units in 2024. The city witnessed an all-time high sale in 2024 owing to strong economic fundamentals and infrastructural advancements combined with shifting buyer preferences towards aspirational lifestyle. The residential launches, however, saw a decline of 6% YoY recorded supply of 44,013 units in 2024.
