New Delhi: ICON Nurturing Innocence, the Ghaziabad-based preschool chain founded in 2005, has opened franchise applications for new centres across Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in India.
Known for its play-way curriculum and strong parent loyalty, ICON currently operates more than a dozen company-owned and franchise centres. Mainly in Delhi-NCR and northern states. Company records show that a majority of its franchise partners were earlier parents at ICON schools; a rare endorsement that the founders say reflects the brand’s day-to-day performance.
“Parents who see the difference ICON makes in their own child often become our strongest franchisees.” said Mr. Sunil Tyagi, Director at ICON Preschool. “After twenty years of steady growth, we are ready to take the brand deeper into every state and are looking for serious, education-focused partners.”
A typical ICON centre requires 1,800-2,500 sq. ft. of carpet area on the ground floor (independent house or commercial space) and a total investment of ₹10-15 lakhs. This includes a franchise fee of ₹3-5 lakhs + GST (depending on city category), complete interior fit-out, furniture, Montessori materials, toys, CCTV, branding, launch marketing kit and initial working capital.

The company provides end-to-end support: site evaluation and selection, architectural design and execution, teacher recruitment, 3-7 days of intensive training at headquarters, complete academic kit, proprietary learning apps, digital and local marketing campaigns, academic audits and year-round operational hand-holding.
Franchise territories are still available in most cities across Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal and the North-Eastern states.
Mr. Mukul Tyagi, Director at ICON Preschool, added, “Operational break-even usually comes within 6–12 months because enrolment builds quickly on parent referrals and local reputation. We do not walk away after the launch, our academic and operations teams remain involved until the centre is profitable and beyond.”
The chain has previously been ranked among the top 100 preschools in India by Brainfeed Magazine and recognised for innovation in early childhood education.
