Chennai: The International Decarbonization & Renewable Energy Association (IDREA), a non-profit organization located at IITM Research Park dedicated to promoting renewable energy, sustainability, and climate action, marked a significant milestone with the launch of its inaugural magazine “Speaking Green”.
The magazine was officially unveiled during the inauguration of Energy Conservation Week 2026, hosted by the School of Electrical Engineering (SELECT), VIT Chennai, at the Nethaji Auditorium. The event brought together eminent academicians, industry leaders, and sustainability advocates, highlighting the growing importance of energy conservation and environmental responsibility.
The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Sudhansu Bhusan Prusty, Managing Director & CEO of NeXHS Renewables Pvt. Ltd. and Chairman of IDREA, along with Guest of Honour Mr. Shubhendu Sitoke, Application Engineer at Infineon Technologies, Bengaluru. “Speaking Green” is envisioned as a knowledge-driven platform that brings together ideas, research insights, and practical perspectives on renewable energy, decarbonization, and sustainability. The magazine aims to foster meaningful dialogue and inspire action by addressing critical environmental challenges through expert contributions and real-world case studies.
