IMD Predicts ‘Heavy To Very Heavy’ Rainfall Over Northeast India During Next Two Days

New Delhi: Indian Meteorological Department has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall with isolated extremely heavy falls over Northeast India during next two days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over Konkan and Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka from tomorrow to 15th July. Met department said, fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is very likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar and northeast India during the next five days. Scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall over Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha during the next five days.

The weatherman has forecast isolated very heavy rainfall over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and Bihar and Arunachal Pradesh tomorrow.

Fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is very likely over Uttarakhand and Central India during next five days.  Scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall over Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad is also likely during the next five days.
