Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal today had detailed discussions with Minister of Transport, Communications and IT of Oman, Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, over Video Conferencing. In a social media post, Mr Sonowal said that the two nations are taking their centuries-old maritime ties to new heights. He added that both sides also discussed opportunities for expanding Indian participation in Oman’s ports, along with strengthening regional connectivity and shared economic growth.
