Chennai : Indian Bank today celebrated the 12th International Day of Yoga (IDY) by organizing yoga sessions with the association of Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram at its Corporate Office in Chennai and across its offices nationwide.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Shri Binod Kumar, MD & CEO; Shri Ashutosh Choudhury, Executive Director; Shri Shiv Bajrang Singh, Executive Director; Chief General Managers, General Managers, and employees of the Bank.
The celebrations were conducted with the objective of promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being through the practice of yoga. The sessions were aligned with this year’s International Day of Yoga theme, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” which highlights the role of yoga in fostering longevity, vitality, and overall wellness with the association of Krishnamchari Yoga Mandiram, Chennai.
Participants engaged in a variety of yoga asanas, pranayama techniques, and meditation practices under the guidance of experienced yoga instructors. The sessions emphasised the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life to enhance health, reduce stress, and improve overall quality of life.
