India’s Health Tourism Encompasses Mental & Spiritual Wellness, Not Just Physical Health: Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav
New Delhi: Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Ayush, Prataprao Jadhav has said that India’s health tourism is not only focused on physical health but also encompasses mental and spiritual wellness. While inaugurating the ‘Ayush Medical Value Travel Summit’ in Mumbai today, Mr Jadhav emphasized that the Ayush methods and traditional therapies collectively establish a standard of holistic health services, giving India a unique position in the global health tourism arena. He noted that thousands of foreign visitors come to India for Ayurvedic treatment each year and highlighted the increasing demand for Ayush treatment methods over the past decade. The ‘Ayush Medical Value Travel Summit’ has been organized by the Ministry of Ayush in collaboration with the Maharashtra government.
