India’s ready-to-eat exports increase 24% to 394 million

New Delhi: India’s Exports of Ready To Eat products has increased by 24 per cent to 394 million dollar in this financial year as compared to last financial year during April to October. The major destination of Ready to Eat export are U.S.A, U.A.E, Canada and Sri Lanka. Commerce and Industry Ministry said that the country’s export of final consumer food products such as Ready to Eat, Ready to Cook and Ready to Serve has registered a significant growth in the last one decade. According to the latest data of Directorate General of Commercial Intelligence and Statistics, India exported final food products worth five thousand 438 million dollar in the last three financial three years.
