Hyderabad: Inorbit is all set to host ‘Inorbit Durgam Cheruvu 10k’ Marathon run on 24th January 2021. Inorbit in association with YouTooCanRun invites people of Hyderabad to register either for the 10km timed run or 5km fun run at Rs 999 & Rs. 599 (plus taxes) respectively. Registered participants will get a Goodie bag, comprising of Puma t shirts Finishers Medal, a Packed Breakfast, and a Digital Finishers Certificate. Winners of the Marathon will be handsomely rewarded with cash prize of upto 2 lakhs across categories. There are also prices worth 30k to be won for the participants between 12 years – 16 years in 5k run.
The event is powered by Puma and will also have Nirmaan as a charity partner for a Marathon. Nirmaan is an NGO that is focussed towards girl child education and afforestation of high-tech city. This Marathon is the first ever run that is happening on the iconic Durgam Cheruvu bridge which is considered as the pride of Hyderabad. The run is planned with all COVID-19 safety sports measures in place. A substantial of funds collected through this event will go towards the upkeep of the Durgam Cheruvu bridge.
