ISI issues high alert in North East following intelligence inputs on terror attack, plot to carry out major terror attack in India

GUWAHATI :Intelligence agencies have received inputs that Lashkar-e-Taiba, Harkat-ul-Ansar and Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists in India are preparing for a major attack. Pakistan’s terror outfit sits in india helping infiltration of terrorists by ISI to create unrest.
These organisations have the support of the ISI. Intelligence agencies have issued an alert over the activities of terrorists in support of isi near India-China and India-Bangladesh international border. According to intelligence reports, the Home Ministry has directed the security agency of north-eastern state police and others to keep an eye on the international border. A senior Assam Police official today told media persons that the Home Ministry issued a high alert in the North East on Sunday on intelligence inputs that Pakistan’s spy agency, Inter Services Intelligence, assam and other places in the country are planning to carry out a major terror attack.According to the report, a circular issued by assistant inspector general of police (L&O) of Assam Police Headquarters said that RSS cadres, army areas, mass meetings and shrines are the possible targets of the ISI.
“Inputs have been received from the affiliate agency about the ISI’s plan to target persons including RSS cadres and army areas in Assam and other places in India,” the circular reads. Global terrorist organizations have been threatened with terror attacks by resorting to bomb/IED blasts. “The General Secretary of The Islamic Cooperation Organisation (OIC) issued a statement regarding dhalpur eviction in the Twitter thread condemning alleged systematic harassment and violence against the Muslim community in Assam,” the Intel Input Circular of Assam Police also said. “Another input from a video message by al-Qaida specifically indicates jihad in Assam (and Kashmir) ,” the statement said. Al-Qaida’s ‘AS Saheb’ released a propaganda video titled ‘Do Not Sit Idli Griving’ which showed the video on the alleged lynching of Indian Muslims. Some of these videos are also from Assam. Commissioner of Police, Guwahati City, All District Police, Special DGP (T&AP) and IP (BTAD), Kokrajhar, ADGP (SB/SB) s) Assam and all DIG ranges have been asked to take necessary and precautionary measures to prevent any terrorist activities.
