Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar remembered senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Sushma Swaraj on her first death anniversary today.
Addressing a function through video conferencing on this occasion, he described her as a lively person. Recalling his memories with Sushma Swaraj, Mr Javadekar said she was a great human being and used to give respect to her family and friends.
He added that the former Union Minister had good command of language and people were fans of her speech and oratorship. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Several Union Ministers including Dr S Jaishankar, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Gen V K Singh and others also paid tributes to her. A veteran parliamentarian Sushma Swaraj died last year at the age of 67.
